Remember when we first met? June 7th, 2008
I was just a volunteer starting out;
you were a quiet guitar player ;) You had me when you played
the beginning rift for S.O.S. Then that first e-mail was sent. It made me more nervous than you could
ever know. I almost decided against it! Luckily, you sent one back; and after a few a more,
we were talking regularly. He was my cream, and I was his coffee-
And when you poured us together, it was something.
~Josephine Baker I thought this quote was funny! And
it reminds me of our talk at Starbucks. Since then, we've come a long
way. =) Can you believe that this
summer will mark 2 years of
knowing each other? I am so thankful that God answered my prayer. I remember calling you
to ask you to go to
Homecoming, I was terrified! But we had so much fun! =) Eventually, we made it to good ole Rocky Point, MX! I had never felt more strongly that you had a permanent place in my life. In October, you once again graced me with your presence at Homecoming '09. This time I was so nervous when you rang our door bell, my knees were shaking. =) In November, we took a trip to the "happiest" and most magical place on earth. And I'll never forget that ride home.
