1. Students will solve a crossword puzzle. Students will have the definitions of some words and they have to look for the words on the crossword to complete it. Students and the teacher will check the crossword orally.

2. Students will make groups of 3 students. Students will create a six lines role play related to the lecture by using the vocabulary already studied. Three groups will present the role play in front of the class.

Listening
1. Identifying new vocabulary related to legends from Costa Rica.
Presentation:
1. Students will be divided in two groups. The teacher will paste some of the words from the crossword on the board. Students will make a row one behind the other. The students will listen a reading. When the first student listens to one of the words pasted on the board run and picks the word, the following student continues and so on. The game ends when the groups finish picking up all the words they hear from the reading. Students will listen the reading twice.
The second time the teacher plays the legend the students will say the definition of the word to the teacher.

3. The students will receive a copy of the legend. Students will read the lecture and complete the empty spaces with the words from the crossword. Students will work on pairs. When the work is done the some of the pairs will read the legend with all the spaces complete. Different students from the last activity.

4. Demonstrating the use of the new vocabulary to write a piece of writing.

4. Students will make pairs. Students will read the lecture again and think of a different ending. Students will write those ideas and create a different end for the legend. Teacher will choose different pairs from the last activity to make all students participate. Two or three pairs will read the end of the story.

4. Demonstrate the use of vocabulary to write a paragraph relate to the topic studied.
Reinforcing the pronunciation of the words acquired.
Extra Activity:
5. Students will listen to the teacher for the correct pronunciation of the new words acquired. Students will repeat the pronunciation after the teacher. Some students will pronounce the words without help from the teacher.
