Definition of HONESTY

a : fairness and straightforwardness of conduct
b : adherence to the facts : sincerity
What is honesty?
First of all.....

Start by being honest with yourself.

James E. Faust
“Honesty is a very expensive gift, Don't expect it from cheap people.”
-Warren Buffett
Honesty is telling the truth.
Honesty is straightforward conduct.
Honesty is being sincere, truthful, trustworthy, honorable, fair, genuine, and loyal with integrity.
Honesty implies a refusal to lie, steal, or deceive in any way.
How does honesty apply to all of us?
so........
Accept responsibility for your own actions; don't blame others.
Be honest about your feelings.
Face issues as they arise.
If you are considering lying, try to think of the consequences.
When confronted with a situation, think of others.
“Honesty is a fine foundation from which to build upon; for if one was to really know what another thinks and how they feel…they would surely treat each other differently”
― Jeremy Aldana
Tips for being more honest:
Make a commitment to tell the truth and honor it.
Tell someone about your commitment and progress.
Think before you give a dishonest answer, explanation, or reason.
Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony.
Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it.
Talk to yourself quietly and ask "what is the honest thing to do?"
In conclusion..........
One last video.

Catch yourself doing something honest and then treat your to something special.

BEING HONEST MAY NOT GET
YOU A LOT OF FRIENDS......
BUT
IT'LL ALWAYS GET YOU THE
RIGHT ONES.
