Extension Cord What is an
Extension Cord??? It is a length of flexible electrical power cable (flex) with a plug on one end and one or more sockets on the other end (usually of the same type as the plug). Residential Extension Cords with Two Wires

•Two-wire extension cords are usually intended only for home use for double-insulated devices and small appliances. Heavy-Duty Extension Cords with Three Wires
•Extension cords with three wires are designed more for outdoor appliances and electric power tools. Telephone Extension Cords
•There are three basic telephone extension cords: RJ-11, RJ-12 and RJ-14, according to Picky Guide. TYPES
CORD PROCEDURES Materials needed
in making an
Extension Cord Remove insulation of both wires 1 cm. long using long nose and side cutting pliers. Scrape bare wire until shiny. Twist the wire strands. Split the cord wires about 8 centimeters long. Split the cord wires at the other end about 4 centimeters long, then follow step no. 4. Open the convenience
outlet then remove the screw. Connect the wires to the terminal screw of the convenience outlet, tighten them and replace the cover. Test the Extension Cord. Thank You Very Much!!!
