BY WILLIAM Dolphins are most closely related to Orcas or killer whales. Dolphins are a type of toothed whale. FACT #1 Dolphins are mammals just like whales. FACT #2 Fact #3 Adult dolphins are fast swimmers. Fact #4 dolphins carry their babies for about a year Fact #5 baby dolphins are called calves fact#6 Dolphins I love dolphins. I LIKE WATCHING THEM PLAY. Dolphins are social animals and they live in large groups called pods. There are about 12 dolphins in a pod.
