Pirates of North Carolina By:Christopher Anderson The economic impact of these pirates was that they stole gold and goods from different ships from different countries. This made the economy for those countries plummet. By taking all those goods and gold that the countries needed they would soon be bankrupt. The political impact of these pirates was that while most pirates didn't listen to any governmental law some pirates worked with the politicians such as Blackbeard. He made a deal with the Governor of Bath that stated Blackbeard could continue his piracy and not be arrested by the law and in exchange all the goods or gold they stole the pirates would split it with the governor.
