Active vs. Passive Let's Practice! 4형식 문장의 수동태(목적어가 2개인 문장)일 경우!
=> 내용에 따라 두 가지 수동태 가능!

John gave Heidi some flowers.
=> Heidi was given some flowers.
=> Some flowers were given to Heidi by John. The Active and the Passive 1. '능동': 주어+동사+목적어의 구조, 주어가 문장의 주체가 됨
- I love him.
- She helped the boy. 1. Tom opens the door.
2. Tom is opening the door.
3. Tom has opened the door.
4. Tome opened the door.
5. Tom was opening the door.
6. Tom had opened the door.
7. Tom will open the door.
8. Tom is going to open the door.
9. Tom will have opened the door. Today we are going to learn about how to use
the active and the passive correctly! 2. '수동': 주어+be+p.p, 또는 주어+be+p.p+by+행위자 의 구조
- He is loved by me.
- The boy was helped by her.

*수동태는 보통 언제, 또는 누가 실행했는지 모를때 많이 쓰인다.
- Rice is grown in India.
- Our house is built in 1986.
- This olive oil was imported from Italy. 주의!: 자동사는 수동태가
불가능하다!!
- An accident happened.
- The Sun disappeared.
- Jane resembles her sister. 1. Tom opens the door.
-> The door is opened by Tom.
2. Tom is opening the door.
-> The door is being opened by Tom.
3. Tom has opened the door.
-> The door has been opened by Tom.
4. Tom opened the door.
-> The door was opened by Tom.
5. Tom was opening the door.
-> The door was being opened by Tom. 6. Tom had opened the door.
-> The door had been opened by Tom.
7. Tom will open the door.
-> The door will be opened by Tom.
8. Tom is going to open the door.
-> The door is going to be opened by Tom.
9. Tom will have opened the door.
-> The door will have been opened by Tom. 5형식 문장의 수동태! 주어+동사+목적어+목적보어로 이루어진 문장이 수동태가 될 때에는
주어(목적어) + be + p.p + 목적보어의 구조가 됨!

- They elected the woman their cheerleader.
=> The woman was elected their cheerleader (by them). 1. I gave Robert a book.
간접목적어를 주어로! => Robert was given a book. 직접목적어를 주어로! => A book was given to Robert by me. Tip: 사역동사가 들어있는 문장이 수동형태가 되면
'주어+be+p.p+to부정사'의 구조가 된다!
She made me clean my room.
=> I was made to clean my room (by her). 의문문을 수동태로 바꾸는 방법! '의문문'의 수동은 평서문이라 생각하고 수동으로 바꾼 다음에 'be+주어+p.p'의 구조로 바꾸어 준다. (의문사는 처음에 온다.) Did everybody enjoy the game?

-> Everybody enjoyed the game.
-> The game was enjoyed by everybody.
-> Was the game enjoyed by everybody? Who wrote the novel?
-> Who was this novel written by?

What did John see?
-> What was seen by John? 숙어는 하나의
타동사로 간주!! say, think, believe 같은 동사가
'They say that~'의 구조를 취했을 때!

'It is said/thought/believed that~'
또는
'절안의 주어 is said/thought/believed to부정사~'

Keep the door open.
-> Let the door be opened. 부정명령문은 앞에 Don't을 붙이거나
'Let+목+not be+p.p'의 형식!
Don't touch my book.
-> Don't let my book be touched.
-> Let my book not be touched. Everyone laughed at her shoes.
-> Her shoes were laughed at by everyone. John took care of my cat during the vacation.
-> My cat was taken care of during the vacation by John. They say that John loves her.
-> It is said that John loves her.
-> John is said to love her. They say that John loved her.
-> It is said that John loved her.
-> John is said to have loved her. 주의해야 할 수동태! :)
