why people move? why did people move in the past? did people migrate to avoid being drafted into the U.S. army? in the draft it is estimated 125,000 people migrated to canada they migrated to canada because they either didn't want to get killed or didn't want to go to vietnam previde shelter and water toronto anti draft programme president carter granted them amnesty after the reasearch I discovered one reason
people move in the past is that they have a choice and want to move.
because when war breaks out they have
a draft and if your numbers are chosen and you want to serve the contry, you go for training. and if you don't want to serve you have to go somewhere to dodge the draft.
those who dodge the draft are called "draft dodgers". (mini question answer) yes this is what i found during the reasearch
