Welcome to United High School!
THIS CLASS IS A "NO-WHINING ZONE"
LEAVE IT OUTSIDE OF THE CLASSROOM.
Tardies add up to absences.
Tardiness will lose your restroom privileges and affect exemption status for final exams.
Following the UISD Dress Code is absolutely mandatory.
NO blue jeans.
NO sheer blouses.
NO house slippers.
NO caps/hats inside buildings.
Spirit shirts may be worn any day of the week.
No bullying or disrespectful
language is allowed in here.
Follow instructions the first time they are given.
Yay! Another year begins! I hope you are all as excited as I am.
Come to class with all your materials.
Be prepared to work everyday (yes, even Mondays and Fridays).
DO NOT USE ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Do not charge your phone in class.
If you are caught using it, it will be picked up and turned in to the front office.
Headphones should not be visible.
In order to be successful in this class, you MUST turn in all assignments on the day they are due.
Try to avoid procrastination.
More likely, but still not a good excuse.
Eating in class is not allowed.
Selling food is not allowed on campus or in class.
Absolutely no applying make-up in class
or hair styling.
Always be prepared
by writing down
assignments or subscribing to Remind.
Get your sleep outside of class!
Academic Dishonesty is not Tolerated
Cheating, copying, and plagiarizing will result in an automatic zero.
This applies to essays, assignments, tests/quizzes, and projects.
