About the Creator
The generations of Minecraft
He had a idea... Called "Cave Game"
In Minecraft, you play as a human named Steve, there to survive. There are many different weays to survive. You can mine down into the Earth and find materials, build a house, fight off monsters, dig holes, farm crops, and craft tools. You can also play with friends on a server! This game, at heart, is a survival sandbox game.
Notch decided to make a convention for Minecraft. At first, he called it, "Minecraft-con 2010", but it later was changed to Minecon. Over fifty people came to the convention, launched on August 31, 2010. At the convention, they had a spleefing tournament, a building compitition, and a obstacle course. There was going to be a griefing contest, but it was cancelled. One person who was there was in a creeper costume. Notch didn't get very much people there, but, he did spring it on people and Minecraft was only created a year before.
The Creator's name is Markus Alexey Persson, but he is known as Notch. He was born on June 1, 1979, making him 34. He is from Stockholm, Sweden. In the Minecraft code, he added code that made him always drop a apple, even if he didn't have one in his inventory. He has created 23 different games, most of them for the Ludum Dare competition. You can find links to those games to play them in the Bibliography.
