Balance Feels Best! We understand and support that your children have passions outside of school. Therefore, homework should take no more than 40-45 minutes of your child's evening.

Grading Policy

Parent Homework

Please support your child by checking over their finished work for quality and accuracy.

Summative Grades: 60%

• End of Unit Tests
• School Projects
• Common Assessments

Formative Grades: 40%

• Daily Work
• Observation
• Interactive Journals
• At-home projects
• Participation

Summative Grades: Opportunity to correct or retest for up to a 70%.

Formative Grades: Reteach,

but grade will not be changed.

Email is the fastest way for us to get information. If it is after 1:00pm, and you need to to change your child's transportation plan; please call the front office.

If you have a specific question for a certain subject

(i.e. reading, math, science, etc.),

please contact the appropriate teacher.

Please check out the Class Dojo App daily. It will allow opportunity to have discussions in regards to your child's positive points or areas they need to work.

Also great for a sneak peek into your child's learning environment through pictures, messages, and video.
