mV = c(T -T ) + (T -T )
= (T -T ) when c=

What you need to know from the customer:

What type of material do you want to measure ?
What is the (real) target temperature range ?
What is the target size ?
What is the distance between the sensor and target ?
What output signal would you prefer ?
What is the ambient temperature ?
How accurate do you wish to measure ?
Is it a dusty environment ?
How many sensors do you need ?
What is your target price ?
Tools:
I am a manufacturer of laminating machines working on the next generation.
I want to measure (and control) the temperature of the foil while laminating.

Current problem:
Lamination is perfect at 98°C, 2° higher and you get bubbles, 2° lower and the foil does not stick well to the paper.
Question for you:

Is this a good application for Exergen ?
What do you want to know ?
What part would you suggest ?
Question for you:

Why measuring the temperature ?
Why with Exergen?
Question for you:
The customer want to measure the temperature of the drum (180-220°C)
What do you propose ?
Question for you:
The customer wants to measure the temperature of the steel coming out of the oven (900°-1200°C)
What do you want to know, what do you propose ?

Question for you:
Customer needs to measure the blood temperature in a tube.

Why Exergen ?
What part would you suggest ?
