Students will:
-examine the dependence of organisms on one another in their environments.
(all info found on google)

They will a)
Demonstrate in a food web that matter is transferred from one organism to another and can recycle between organisms and their enviorments.
They will b)
Explain in a food web that sunlight is the source of energy and that this energy moves from organism to organism.
They will c)
Recognize that changes in enviormental conditions can effect the survival of both individuals and entiere species.
They will d)
Categorize relationships between organisms that are competitive or mutually beneficial.
They will e)
Describe the characteristics of earths major terrestial biomes(i.e. tropical rain forest, savannah, temerate, desert, taiga, tundra, and mountain biomes)and aquatic comminities(i.e. freshwater, equestrias, and marine biomes).
Vocabulary
-Food web -Tiagi Forest -Parasitism
-Food Chain -Tundra -Predator
-Biomes -Mountains - Prey
-Climate -Freshwater
-Tropical Rain Forest -estary
-Savannah -Marine
-Temperate Forest -Commensaitalism
-Desert -Mutualism
What is a food web
it is a diagram that shows the transferal of energy from one organism to another
What is a food chain
A diagram that shows the food web showing everything consumers to producers.
Temperate Forest
This biome is full of trees that stay lush all season long.In this region. They are usually found in the northern or southern areas.
Biomes
Types of areas on earth that include climate and animals.
Climate
The temperature and weather of biomes.
Tropical Rain Forest
A biome that includes hot temperature, heavy rain ,and exotic animals like monkeys and parrots.
Savanna
A very dry area that can only support small trees.
Next to no rain can be found here. Almost all animals are nocturnal and almost all plants adapted to living with minimal rain.
Desert
The third coldest biomes ,and has relatively low rain fall.
Taiga Forest
An area that has extremely low temperatures and is barely able to support trees. The vegetation mainly is made of shrub and grass like plants.
Tundra
A large formation of land
that has lower temperature
as the mountain goes higher.
Mountains
Non-salt water natural body's of lake on earth.
Fresh Water
This biomes include all the oceans and reefs in the world.
Marine
A body of water that is a mixture of salt water and fresh water,
Estuary
Commensalism-----one is benefiting and one is not effected
Mutualism-------They both are benefiting from one another
Parasitism------ one is benefiting the other is harmed
Commensalism,
Mutualism , Parasitism
Predator---One who captures another for food
Prey--- The one who is hunted
Scavenger---- They eat the left overs after the predator eats the pray
Producer---They make their own food
Consumer-- Eats the producer
Decomposer--- Eat the dead organisms,
