What is a Blu Ray Player?
A Blu-Ray player is a device that is used to play Blu-Ray disks. A Blu-Ray player looks and works like a DVD player. A DVD player is a device which is hooked up to your TV and is used to watch movies, but a Blu-Ray player only plays Blu- Ray Disks. The difference between the Blu-Ray player and a DVD player is that the quality of the movie you are watching is much higer.
What is a Blu Ray Disk? Blu-ray Disc is also known as BD. Blu Ray Disks is an optical disc storage designed to supersede the standard DVD format. Then main use is for storing high-definition videos and other data, with up to 25 gigabyte storage per single layer, and 50 gigabyte on a dual layered disc. The specification is open-ended, with the upper theoretical storage limit left unclear. There are 200 gigabyte discs are available.
