There were many problems during the 2000 presidential election. President Bush signed this act on October 29, 2002 to help improve the system. Events That Led Up To It: Who Was Involved: Why Is This Event Important: How Did People Involved Take Part In Public Affairs: It help to:
-Statewide registration system
-update their voting machines
-train poll workers
-improve voter education
-voters must identify themselves before the register The 2000 presidential election had many issues that included, counting ballots wrong and wrong facts in the news. House, Senate, President George Bush It helped to make voting easier for the voters and it make everything more organized. Help America Vote Act
