The pen is mightier than the sword
Edward Bulwer-Lytton
Actions speak louder than words
but rarely as often
Mark Twain (probably)
You'll be remembered for what you
did
.
You'll be remembered for what you
said
.
Do you remember what he did?
Rose to the ranks of
"Guardian of Scotland"
Before he was hung, drawn, and quartered less than a year later.
Scotland STILL isn't independent.
Remember?
FREEEEEEEEDOM!
I remember what he did
The genocide of more than 6,000,000 people
Want to be remembered for that?
How did he get there?
“Goodness, he's got a big mouth. We could use him,"
Anton Drexler
This guy changed the world with what he did.
He created all this stuff
Or did he?
A quick online search will tell you that the iPhone was conceived by Apple employee John Casey
Maybe he changed the world with what he said.
An iPod, a phone, an internet mobile communicator... these are NOT three separate devices! And we are calling it iPhone! Today Apple is going to reinvent the phone. And here it is.
Our goal is to make the best devices in the world, not to be the biggest.
It's not a faith in technology. It's faith in people.
Who wants a stylus. You have to get em and put em away, and you lose em. Yuck. Nobody wants a stylus.
And one more thing.
Older people sit down and ask, 'What is it?' but the boy asks, 'What can I do with it?'.
Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn't matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we've done something wonderful, that's what matters to me.
