Transcript of Online Learning in K-12 Schools

Online Learning in K-12 Schools Learning Management Systems can connect students and instructors through real and virtual time. Some examples of Learning Managements Systems include: Moodle (www.moodle.org) RCampus (www.rcampus.com) and Digital Chalk (www.digitalchalk.com) These Learning Systems all offer solutions
ranging from learning and course management,
eportfolios, rubrics, student and group websites,
tutor connections, book exchanges and more.
These solutions can greatly enhance the experience
your student has while learning in your classroom. Using these solutions through
Management Systems, your student
can stay connected in the physical
classroom space as well as outside of
classtime. Learning Management
Systems bridge instructional
gaps. Online learning supports
meaningful authentic
instruction by offering better access to course material, a constant stream of connection
between all involved in the class, a more productive use
of time and energy, more actively
involved families
who can witness the
classroom setting from
home. For further proof about
why you should be integrating
technology through
online Learning Management
Systems into your classroom, watch
