Mrs. Nav Kaur
Let's make this happen, girl
You gotta show the world that
something good can work
And it can work for you
And you know that it will
Let's get this started girl
We're moving up, we're moving up...
Some of the coolest people I've come across in my life.
groomed for growth
Thrown into the battle field, the very first film I worked on was Sex and the City 2. It was the best and worst thing that could have happened to me - this film single-handedly taught me everything about promotions (and so much more).
Worked under Melissa
Ziad - From
May 2010 - Dec 2010
In the absence of a coordinator, I acted as the coordinator for both teams.
My very first film I worked on, on my own. Reporting directly to Melissa, I ran point with all partners in terms of timelines, creative, field activations, approvals, etc.
2011 - 2012
I worked on day to day execution as the main point of contact with all partners. [This film had some of the most vibrant art which translated into amazing creative.]
After months of working on this film, I was hired as a FULL TIME employee (no more temp!) and joined Ziad's team permanently.
Happy Feet 2
Worked directly with Ziad on all aspects of this film until he left at the end of 2011. Being most versed with the film, I then took the lead on finishing and wrapping the film's promotions.

After many revisions - there was perfection.
2012 - 2013
During my downtime,
I picked up a few partners from the other team.
Wrath of the Titans
I had the opportunity to take a trip to Indiana for the final press check of the Carl's Jr. cups. It was a great learning experience and opened my eyes to how production works on the partner's end... and came away with some fabulous looking cups!
How does it look?
Working with my very first make-up partner on this film was amazing. Now when I see a product on the shelf, I know how much work has gone into it.
2012 was a big milestone in my life.
I tried to balance work and personal life to the best of my ability and hope I succeeded in growing professionally while growing as an individual.
Working on The Great Gatsby was a new learning experience in itself
(our whole team can vouch for that)
But it was an experience I will never forget.
Working directly with Cathrine Martin was one of the biggest highlights of my career. It may have been a challenging film but, that's what made it all that much more rewarding.
"Can't repeat the past?... Why of course you can!" :)
