Wonderful Writing
By Lily Westbrook-Shingler
Writing is a forum of communication. Of course, you have used it! Whether it is timed writing, sending a letter, (even though you guys most likely have emails. -_-) or scribbling down notes for a test, people need to learn how to write!
The history of writing
Writing began in 1,000 B.C.E. They wrote it on small pieces of stone and passed it down to their families. The last recorded date was before the stone ages, which consisted between 2000 B.C.E and 6000 B.C.E. So, to sum it up, writing is pretty old!
Some old writers you may know:
William Shakespeare (If you don't know him, what are you doing with life?)
Edgar Allen Poe (Horror writer, but in poetry.)
Stephen King (Horror, fiction, and science fiction.)
Jk Rowling (Wrote Harry Potter, The Casual Vacancy, The Cuckoo's Calling, and works in all types of topics)
William Faulkner (Writes novels and short stories. PS:Don't laugh at his last name.
Erin Hunter (Wrote Warriors, Seekers, and Survivors, and works in fantasy.)
Where can you write?
Anywhere! May different people like to work in different places, so as long as you can genarate plenty of ideas, you're set! You will need some type of laptop or writing utensil, (pen, pencil, ect) Above all of that, you only need ideas.
Well-you probably aren't crazily freaking out like that, but it is hard... So, you will need a brain! Just think of random things, like monkeys in tutus, squirrels in leotards, magic guinea pigs.... Whatever you think, it would be a great idea-but of course, you have to write the whole thing down instead of one word.
Now, you have seen the process. Here's a video for all of you to show how to and what to do when your writing a story.
So, I hope you enjoyed this prezi and the video! Thanks for your attention!

Why write? Is there a goal?
You probably think; "writing is for a medal of some sort." No, actually. Us writers only want to show that children and adults need to learn and open their mind, instead of their eyes being glued to their i-pad screen.
