Reggae History
Bob Marley
Bob Marley lived February 6th 1945- and died May 11th 1981. Bob Marley preformed worldwide to a wide audience. Bob Marley played many instruments such as a guitar and his own vocals. Bob Marley was also a very spiritual person which his Rastafarian religion influenced his music greatly.
Burning Spear
Burning Spear was born March 1st 1945- and lives today. He plays guitar and sings of Reggae music. Burning Spear created influential Reggae music to support his Rastafarian faith and deepen other peoples understanding of how his faith works.

Reggae existed in the late 1960's and was created in Jamaica. This genre of music still exists in many countries such as Jamaica and America today. Reggae is most of "Jamaican dance music." Popular hits are in the Jamaican 1960's " Do the Reggae."
