Definitions
Divisor
The divisor is the number that gets divided by the divident. Example 3 divided by 15, 3 would be the divisor
Definitions
Divident
The divident is the number that gets divided by the divisor. Lets say you are dividing 3 by 15, 15 would be your divident.
Definitions
Prime Number
A prime number is a number that has only 2 factors 1 and the number itself
Definitions
Composite Numbers
Composite Numbers are numbers that can get divided by more than 1 factor. Lets say 24, You have 1, 24, 2, 12, 3, 8, 4, 6. As you see 24 is composite beacuse it has more than 1 factor.
Prime Factorisaion
The Prime factorisaion is when you use a factor tree to get prime numbers.
Ex
40
/ \
4x10
/ \ / \
2x2x5x2
The colors in yellow are prime.
Partial Quotients
Partial Quotients is a divison method.
So first of all you draw a big 7. Then you put the number that you want to divide by, in this case 5. In middle of the seven you want the number that will get divided in this case 15. the 7 that you want to divide, then you put the number that you are going to divide bye lets say 5/15, 5 goes on the out side and 15 on the inside. Then when finish you see what is the closest number to eaqual 15 so 5/15 is 3 so I put 3 because 5x3 is 15 so than I put the 3 on top of the 3 as my awnser.
Factors of 48
1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48
Those are the factors of 48
First 6 multiples of 14
14, 28, 42, 56, 70, 84
Thoes are the first 6 multipes of 14
DIVISIBILITY RULES

2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10
Rule 2
The rule is that hte last digit is even [0, 2, 4, 6, or 8]
Rule 3
Rule 3 is if the sum of the digit is divisible by 3
Rule 4
Rule 4 is if the last 2 digits form a number divisible by 4
Rule 5
Rule 5 is that the last digit is 5 or 0
Rule 6
Rule 6 is that if the numbers are divisible by both 2 and 3
Rule 9
If the sum of the last digit is divisible by 9
Rule 10
If the last digit is 0
HOPE YOU ALL LOVED IT SEE YOU NEXT TIME :] !!!!!!!
