All About Me
I am a
sixteen year old
girl, who was born in
Galveston,
Texas
on
February 28, 1997
and have lived most of my life in Houston, Texas with my father, my mother, my brother, and my grandparents. Aside from me, every member of my family was born in Bombay, India, making me an
Asian Muslim
residing in America. I currently attend
Clear Springs High School
with the expectations of returning this fall as a Junior. Within the United States of America, I have traveled to Washington, D.C., California, Nevada, Arizona, and Florida, and expect to visit New York and Toronto, Canada this summer. Out of the country, I have been to India.

Who Am I?
One Word Description:
DEDICATED
If something needs to be done and it's on me to finish that job, I will not let myself or anyone else down. Nothing can stop me from meeting a deadline. I will put every effort I have into doing the perfect job hat exceeds my expectations.
My personality depends on who I am communicating with. In front of teachers, I have a shy and reserved personality, but in front of my peers, I am witty and funny.
MY MOTIVATION:
My family
My personal success
God
My
ability to balance my Indian and American culture
makes me
unique
because unlike some, I am able to value both cultures equally without letting one suppress the other.
I
see myself as a perfectionist
because even while knowing that perfection ceases to exist, I always strive to reach the closest thing to perfection.
I believe o
thers see me as an overachiever
because in everything I do, my goal is never to finish the job, but to exceed the expectations placed on me.
I
openly express myself
and therefore my opinions coincide with those of others because I do tend to go over and beyond and I do have the tendency to be critical.
STRENGTHS IN PERSONALITY:
STRENGTHS IN ABILITIES:
I am able to
stand up for myself
and will not back down until I have said everything I can to defend myself.
WEAKNESS IN PERSONALITY:
WEAKNESS IN ABILITIES:
I am
shy around new people
and usually keep to myself unless they approach me.
Mathematics specifically geometry.
Personality
wise, I would
change
how
blunt
I am because that can tend to hurt people's feelings.
Physically
, I would

alter
my
weight
. I may not be fat or skinny, but I sure prefer to
be more skinnier
because I would
be healthier
.
I would
keep my will to work hard
because I know it will pay off in the long run when I see my success in front of my eyes.

My Values
My Life As Seen and Told By Me
Future Plans
Life Philosophy
My values are doing
what my religion expects from me, following the guidance my parents provide, and sculpting a successful career with good personal achievement in school.
I get these values from
my parents and my spiritual leader.
These values are important
to be because they determine what I am worth in this world and rate the significance of my existence.
These values effect how I act and speak.
I do what my religion and my parents ask me to do and I defend what is close to me. I do good in school and attempt to get outstanding grades. I do what I do because they touch upon the values close to my heart.

These
values
do in fact effect my
decision-making process
because my ethics are defined by my religion and what I have been taught since I was born. The values my religion as laid out for me and the aspects my family expects me to follow are key when I stumble upon an important choice to make. For example, I have never been near drugs because my parents and my faith has taught me to never be in contact with substances that can harm my body.
For the most part,
my family and friends have some of the same values
because sometimes our values choose our friends for us.
When someone fails to have similar values
as top priority, I become controlling, I am a stubborn individual so to persuade me to change my values for someone else's is impossible, but I want to force my values on someone else without understanding they could be just as stubborn.
My values do match up with my time spent on a daily basis. I value
family
which is who I spend most of my time with. I value
achievement
which is why I dedicate a lot of time and effort to getting good grades. I value having a
relationship with God
which is why I go to church every single day.
I want my family to be
financially secure
which is why I do not do excessive shopping and can be
stingy
.
Responsibility
is important to me which is why when it comes to treating people right, I do not leave them hanging. I do my part and make sure I come off us reliable.

There are a couple of people who have
influenced me
, them being
my mother, my father, and my brother
.
My mother
influenced me by showing me that
even if you have the tiniest thing in your hands, have the biggest heart
.

It has been a
positive influence
because she showed me the true
value of generosity
and teaches me everyday how important it is to share with those who are more or less fortunate than we are. I would like to one day have a heart as grandiose and compassionate as her's because that is what wins respect and appreciation.
I
respect my father
. During the time and place he was born, people rarely got the opportunity to be educated. There was no money or resources, but my father made it farther than anyone in his extended family. He got a bachelors which might mean close to nothing now, but it certainly is a big feat for a a man who was born into a family with so little . However, as the oldest son, he had to move to America to provide for his family and this deprived him of how far he could have gone in his education. Instead he had to get a job that did not honor his education. I respect him for sacrificing himself so my brother and I could get an education, but I fear that one day I might not be able to fully honor this. However, I am not going to let this stop me from;
I am going to do the best I can in school and make sure I give my father's dreams some meaning
.
My goals for the near future are to graduate top of my class, get into Rice University, and master in something in the medical field.
I secretly dream of publishing a book one day and becoming a famous author.
I will accomplish by self-publishing and seeing where it takes me.
I know I will marry one day, but I cannot see myself marrying anyone.
I want my spouse to be educated, religious, witty, funny, intelligent, and a morally great guy.
Cannot see myself having children, but do want one female and one male.

I see myself standing strong in my third year of college, putting everything I have into studying.
I see myself attending church as much as I can and praying with a clean heart.
I see myself ambling strongly across my path of career, attending work regularly, and financially securing myself.
I see myself balancing work, family, and religion each day.
I see myself with a new family in a house, taking care of my children and balancing work. Although it is hard for me to picture this, I know it is a way of life to marry and pass your lineage, which is why this is what I am expecting.
I want people to remember me as the girl who did the unthinkable and left a mark in the world that will forever be unforgettable. I do not know how this will be achieved whether it be through my actions or my words on a paper, but I want there to be someone who is left in awe of what I did.
I desire to make a difference in
the field of art, literature, and medicine, but I do not expect to succeed in making a difference in all three, but I surely will try.
By the
end of my life
, I want to have raised my children as well as they can be and make sure the rest of their life is suitable to live in before I die. I want to make sure that both of my parents have lived a good end of their lives and that I did everything possible to make sure they were comfortable like they made sure while I was growing up.
If I knew I could not fail,
I would try to become a cardiologist, play sports, and learn how to play an instrument.
My philosophy in life
is that in the end hard work rewards one with satisfaction and the pleasure of feat.
My attitude towards life
is that you have to dig hard, but at the end of the tunnel, the sweat and tears will be worth it.
I show this by
taking every day of the school as it is thrown at me and keeping my head held high. Even if one student manages to not to do what is expected of them and still get by, I never take the easy way out because I know I will be reward one day, life has its perks.
My advice to the next generation and even those within my generation
is that do not look for the shortcut in and out, take the long route and show life you are not a coward, but a strong individual who is ready to take every obstacle on that road face to face.
I do live up to this
because I do everything a higher figure expects from me even if it is not going to be seen and is only for my benefit,
but sometimes I do stray
on that easy path and use guides to help me. I do my homework and I do not cheat, but I do get help once and a while. Do not stray, keep the high road in sight and follow it, that is the best way to live a good, honest life.
My Personal Life Statement
I am here
to fulfill my destiny as God's greatest creation and participate in the human race.
I want
to be what it means to be human, which is to live like a civil individual and help those who stand as a part of the human race with me. As a dedicated, responsible, and hardworking individual,
I want
to compel my generation to understand the importance of tolerance and to concentrate on living a unified life with religion, race, and ethnicity as a definition of our existence, but not a problem to our coexistence.
I want
to criticize others, but only so I can help them strive farther, not so I can judge them.
I want
to make this place worth living in, and I am going to use art and writing to prove it.
I will
make sure that one day I can leave behind something that will not go unseen.

The search for justice and security, the struggle for equality of opportunity, the quest for tolerance and harmony, the pursuit of human dignity – these are moral imperatives which we must work towards and think about on a daily basis.
