Coastal Plains
The Okefenokee Swamp is one of the largest swamps in the United States. In the upper part of the coastal plains is an agricultural area. Most of the lower part of the coastal plains has marshes and swamps. The Barrier Islands are in this region of Georgia. One of the islands is Jekyll Island. Savannah is a great city to visit.
Piedmont
The Piedmont region of Georgia is the most populated area of Georgia and it has natural and man-made features that are exciting to visit
The World of Coca-Cola has the history the famous soda, Coca-Cola
Stone Mountain is the world's highest granite structure and has the largest carving of Stonewall Jackson, Jefferson Davis, and Robert E. Lee
The Georgia Aquarium is one of the largest aquariums in the world
Appalachian Plateau
The main physical feature is the Appalachian Mountains
The erosion of limestone has created cave and one of the largest caves is Ellison Cave
Basswood and Beech are some plantlife in Georgia
Ridge and Valley
Most of the ridge and valley region is covered by forest, and the flat land is great for farming. The ridge and valley region is split into 4 parts. The Cumberland Plateau, Chickamaunga Valley, Armuchee Ridges, and the Great Valley. The moisture in the air make many plants grow in this region. This region has great soil for planting and agriculture. Coosa River Basin and the Etowah River are a few features in this region of Georgia. During the American Civil War these 4 parts of the ridge and valley region were major corridors of the Union and Confederate Armies.

Blue Ridge Mountain
This region of Georgia is one of the most beautiful places to see. Some of the glorious physical features are Brasstown Bald which is the tallest point in Georgia (4,784 ft). Waterfalls are prevalent in this area. Some of the Appalachian Mountains are in this region. Since of higher elevation it is colder in this region. Wildlife in the Blue Ridge Mountains region are the cardinal flower and the white tail deer
