Transcript of Is There a God?

Questions about God are normal.
Are you really invisible, or is that just a trick? --Ryan
God, I bet it's very hard for you to love all of everybody in the whole world. There are only four people in our family and I can never do it. Frank
Dear God, I read the Bible. What does begat mean? Nobody will tell me. --Tim
Dear God, Maybe Cain and Abel should have had their own rooms. It works with me and my brother. --Scott
Is there a God?
God...my God! Why did you dump me miles from nowhere? Doubled up with pain, I call to God all the day long. No answer. Nothing. I keep at it all night, tossing and turning. And you! Are you indifferent, above it all, leaning back on the cushions of Israel's praise? Psalm 22:1-3
Why do you hide your face and forget our misery and oppression? Psalm 44:24
Why are you far away, Lord? Why do you hide yourself when I am in trouble? Proud and brutal people hunt down the poor. Let them be caught in their own traps! The wicked brag about their deepest desires. These greedy people hate and curse you, Lord. They are too proud to turn to you or even think about you... They curse and tell lies, and all they talk about is how to be cruel or how to do wrong.
Psalm 10:1-7
The heavens keep telling the wonders of God, and the skies declare what he has done. Each day informs the following day; each night announces to the next. They don't speak a word, and there is never the sound of a voice.
Yet their message reaches all the earth, and it travels around the world. In the heavens a tent is set up for the sun. It rises like a bridegroom and gets ready like a hero eager to run a race.
Psalm 19:1-5
