Graphing Linear Equations REMEMBER...

RISE over RUN

How far up, then how far over

Plot your y-intercept

USE A TABLE

x 2x+3 y
3 2(1)+3 5
2 2(2)+3 7
0 2(0)+3 3
-1 2(-1)+3 1
-2 2(-2)+3 -1

Then pull out your ordered
pairs and plot them on your
graph, then connect the points y = x + 2 y = -2x -1 y = -1/4 - 4 y = 3/4x - 2
