ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF PETS
Transcript of ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF PETS
This especially avoids shyness. Pets Might Be So Expensive We Might Spend So Much Times With Pets Unfortunately the hunger of high quality lifestyle, hard works, meetings and some other bad activities are our nightmare. Nowadays people work very steady and exhausting. Sometimes we do not have a time to take a shower. There are many important things that we have to do. You are definitely right if you say there is no enough time to adopt a pet. In the other hand, maybe you will connect your pet too much and forget your responsibilities. That is possible. You might spend all your time with your hairy-friend, then you will miss opportunities. ADVANTAGES ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF HAVİNG A PET I'm paying 120 liras for food, 20 liras to buy cat litter. And some months I take them to vet and get their injuries. It costs 200-250 liras. So at the end of the month I have paid 340 liras for them. At the beginning having a pet comes a good idea if you have enough money to afford the payments. It is not finishes just buy the pet. You have to supply its necessity. For example food, injuries and maybe operations. I have got cats and every month I buy food, cat litter and some other things. Pets Can Improve Your Mood For people who love animals, it’s impossible to stay in a bad mood when you around in a pet. For example when you see a puppy, or when a cat rubs up against your hand.
Studies support the mood-enhancing benefits of pets. A recent one found that individuals with AIDS were less likely to suffer from depression if they owned a pet. According to researchers, people with AIDS who did not own a pet were about three times more likely to report symptoms of depression than those who did not have AIDS. All of us need some amount of structure in our
lives. Pets are entirely dependent on their owners for exercise, food, and health care. So having a pet will put your life in an order and will set a steady rhythm to each day.
Morning walks are good example. You take your dog for a walk every morning and in that way you have done your morning exercise. Pets Can Improve Family Bonds Anyone who owns a pet knows that a pet quickly becomes a member of the family. It sleeps and wakes up with you. And of course they are always with us. You spend your time with your pet as long as your parents.
For example if there is a argument in my house and some of us is shouting, my cats started to bite our legs. They are tried to calm us down in their way.
Also when you upset it always tried to cheer you up. They rub to you and make some really cute noises. Pets Control Blood Pressure Better Than Drugs "Many people have high blood pressure for years without knowing it. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to stroke, heart attack, congestive heart failure or kidney failure. The only way to tell if you have high blood pressure is to have your blood pressure checked. According to recent estimates, one in four U.S. adults has high blood pressure, but because there are no symptoms, nearly one-third of these people don't even know they have it. This is why high blood pressure is often called the "silent killer." Get the facts on high blood pressure and how to live a more heart-healthy life. Find out how you can reduce your risks for heart attack and stroke with proper monitoring by a physician and simple lifestyle changes, even if you have high blood pressure." Quoted from the American Heart Association Website For centuries we are not alone in this world. There are various animals who live with us. Sometimes we do not notice them; we even hurt them, but they are still with us and help us. We make our meals and clothes from animals. We need some of them to remove our loneliness. We domesticate this wild animals and have them in our homes. Of course pets make us happy but they have problems too. If you have high blood pressure you should think about having a pet, such as a dog, or a cat. Some psychologists feel that having a pet can help lower blood pressure. In a study at the State University of New York at Buffalo, it was found that stockbrokers that have the disease, hypertension (high blood pressure), could adopt a cat or a dog to lower their blood pressure. Doctors found that stress-induced blood pressure continued to rise in brokers with NO pet, even when they were treated with medication to lower their blood pressure. The brokers with pets also had a rise in blood pressure, but not as much as the brokers without pets. Based on this study, researchers conclude that drugs do help lower blood pressure but having a pet is better at helping to control stress-related increases in blood pressure. Some of the people in the study went out and got a pet after they learned of the benefits. No one is really sure why this is true. The feeling is that having someone on your side that you can count on and does not judge you is a great benefit to those in high stress jobs. Pets Are Our Protectors Apart from being a source of comfort and constant companion, a dog in particular would lay down its life for its master or mistress. There are countless stories of how dogs have warned their owners of an impending disaster such as fire, accidents, break-ins and eventually saved their lives. Dogs are also kept to provide security for the home front against intruders and robbers. Service dogs and sniffer dogs are used to extensively in the west such as America, United Kingdom and Netherlands among others. Service dogs such as Labradors and Golden Retriever are trained to assist the blind and elderly to help them with basic tasks such as crossing the street, answering the phone, collecting the mail and others. Sniffer dogs are used by the Customs Unit and the police force has a Police Canine Unit that has dogs specially trained to detect drugs and other dangerous substances like bombs. Some Dirty Jobs Your cat is maybe the cuties creature in the world but it isn't mean that the cleanest thing. Adopting an animal is such a good thing. But if you love something you have to stand it's nativities. A cat spills too much hair, a dog smells bad, and a rabbit or a hamster made too much mess. You must comb and wash them regularly. Also they will scratch your sofas and you will see some little paw-prints on your floor. Barks! I'm sure that you love your pet so much but I am curious about something: have you ever take your neighbor's attention about noise...
Our pets sometimes can be so noisy.Imagine that your bird started to sing at the midnight and its wakes you up. That is so annoying. Or maybe your dog will bark everything that it saw. You won't sleep and can't focus.
Some people are can't stand it and leave them. High Maintenance Animals can live in a wild environment by themselves. But not pets. People domesticate them and they can't live without an owner. pets cant supply their necessity. You must take care of them and feed them like a child. They want high quality foods, injuries, exercise and lots of love.
