Discrimination itself is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

Racial discrimination is when a person is treated less favorably than another person in a similar situation because of their race, color, descent, national or ethnic origin or immigrant status.

-Example: People still carry on the thoughts that slavery was ok and thats how life should be.

Judged by Association
-Example: Lets say a chinese person hangsout with a group of black kids some people will treat that person different because he or she is different.

Peoples Perception
-Example: If people see the world as blacks vs whites thats how they are going to act toward other races and society.

The summer of 2001 saw many race-related riots in various parts of northern England." (human rights watch)
No Immigration has been enforerced alot against ethnic Albanians. Until the 1990s Greece had been an extremely homogenous society. When communism fell it made many immigrants from Eastern Europe come to Greece. Albanians especially have been targetted by a lot of racist systems. Some Albanians were taken hostage in recent years.
Racial Discrimination Around

Australia had a racist past where system of segregation or discrimination on grounds of race was practiced and indigenous people lost almost all their land and suffered many prejudices.

The nations perception of racial discrimination changes frequently with the news. Everyday there is something on the news that has to do with racial discrimination, that alters or effects peoples views on racial discrimination.
The media has a good way of molding peoples perception of racial discrimination. They try to show the good things and hide the things they don't want you to see to make you think there isn't racial discrimination or there is only racial discrimination against certain races.
