Discrimination itself is the unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

Racial discrimination is when a person is treated less favorably than another person in a similar situation because of their race, color, descent, national or ethnic origin or immigrant status.

Peoples Perception
-Example: If people see the world as blacks vs whites thats how they are going to act toward other races and society.
Europe
Europe
In the simplist forms of racism, it evolved alot after Christopher Columbus founded the Americas.
Nazism is a set of political beliefs associated with the Nazi party in germany. This was a huge effect of why Eurupe had racial discrimination.
In 1998 a right wing racist party in Germany won a great amount of votes. This led to numerous amount of events.
Some examples of racial discriminant events are as followed.
In spain they have a growing economy which is very inviting for immigrants , but as they come they endure poor conditions and the racially charged region they are in. This causes confrontations and friction.
"In 1997, Human Rights Watch noted that, “The U.K. has one of the highest levels of racially-motivated violence and harassment in Western Europe, and the problem is getting worse.” In April 1999, London saw two bombs explode in predominantly ethnic minority areas, in the space of one week, where a Nazi group has claimed responsibility. The summer of 2001 saw many race-related riots in various parts of northern England." (human rights watch)
No Immigration has been enforerced alot against ethnic Albanians. Until the 1990s Greece had been an extremely homogenous society. When communism fell it made many immigrants from Eastern Europe come to Greece. Albanians especially have been targetted by a lot of racist systems. Some Albanians were taken hostage in recent years.
Racial Discrimination Around
The World
Australia
Australia
In June 1998 an Australian nationalist party got 25 percent of the votes about them fighting immigration by non-whites. This happened because unemployment had been high and it was easy to convince the people that immigrants were taking their jobs, this was a convenient excuse and a way to vent frustration.
Australia had a racist past where system of segregation or discrimination on grounds of race was practiced and indigenous people lost almost all their land and suffered many prejudices.

In Zimbabwe their has been racial discrimination against white farmers because of poverty and the lack of the owning the land by africans.
Discrimination Around
The World

Arabs and Jews have different religion and cultural backgrounds. These differences have resulted in them being prejudice of both sides.

One incident of racial discrimination was murder of Vincent Chin in 1982. He was beaten to death by two White men who called him a "jap" and blamed him and Japanese automakers for the recession and that they were about to lose their jobs. These two men repeatedly smashed his skull and beat him to death with a baseball bat. The bad part about it was instead of them being put on trial for second degree murder the prosecutor made a bargain for reduced charges of manslaughter then the judge in the case sentenced each man to only two years probation and a $3,700 fine with absolutely no jail time at all.
Discrimination Around The World
North America

How The Nation Percieves
Racial Discrimination
The Nation percieves racial discrimination in many different ways. Racial discrimination is looked bad upon for many, but for some it is their way of life to discriminate among others because of their race.
The perception of Racial discrimination is influenced by older generations in your family.
When people percieve racial discrimination as a good thing its usually because they are stuck in the past and like older traditions.
The nations perception of racial discrimination changes frequently with the news. Everyday there is something on the news that has to do with racial discrimination, that alters or effects peoples views on racial discrimination.
The media has a good way of molding peoples perception of racial discrimination. They try to show the good things and hide the things they don't want you to see to make you think there isn't racial discrimination or there is only racial discrimination against certain races.
