LAND MASS-Afghanistan has a land mass of 652, 225km2.
CLIMATE-Winters are cold and snowy, whilst summers are hot and dry.
LANDLOCKED OR COASTAL- Afghanistan is a landlocked mountains country located with in South Asia and Central Asia.
POPULATION FIGURES AND TRENDS
COUNTRY'S TOTAL POPULATION-30.55 million was recorded in 2013.
PERCENTAGE OF WORLD'S POPULATION-2.32%, Country comparison of the world is 39.
POPULATION DENSITY-48 people km2.
POPULATION GROWTH RATE-24% annual change.
LIFE EXPECTANCY-60.51 Years was recorded in 2012.
PERCENTAGE OF POPULATION WITH SAFE DRINKING WATER-Under 50%.
ADULTS LITERACY RATE- 28.1%(all) 43.1% of that figure is male and 12.6% female, Gender difference 30.5%

CLIMATE-Madagascar has two seasons,a hot, rainy season, from November to April and a cooler dry season from may to October.
LANDLOCKED OR COASTAL-Madagascar is coastal seeing as it is an island.
COUNTRY'S TOTAL POPULATION- 22.92 MILLION.
PERCENTAGE OF WORLD'S POPULATION- The urban population percentage is 33%.
POPULATION DENSITY-41 People per km2.
POPULATION GROWTH RATE-28% annual change recorded in 2013. 1221 births a day, and 254 deaths a day.
LIFE EXPECTANCY-Female,, 66 years, men 63 years and a total of 64 years.
PERCENTAGE OF POPULATION WITH ACCESS TO SAFE DRINKING WATER- 70 TO 89%.
ADULT LITERACY RATE-64.7%(all). Male literacy 66.7%, Female literacy 62.6%, And a gender difference of 4.1%.

AVERAGE INCOME-$365 A year per capital.
MAJOR EXPORTS-Main export is coffee.
MAJOR IMPORTS-Refined petrol, rice,cars, raw sugar, delivery trucks.
