Analysis of Brief and Research
Design a card sleeve package to contain and promote a re-usable vacuum formed healthy snack tray. The trays will be given to you and are all made to a standard size. The graphics will be applied to one side of the package only and must promote the Rio Olympics 2016 and healthy eating.

Conduct an in-depth product analysis of a packaging product you have at home. Use a combination of photographs, notes, and/or sketches to communicate your thinking about the product you have. Focus on both construction and graphics.

Create a high quality model of your final idea. Use plain or coloured A4 card and make sure to focus on both the structure and the Graphics of the design.
Use your homework this week to prepare for your final lesson of designing. You may wish to mark out your card packaging ready to cut in the lesson, or perhaps design and print off some of your graphics on the computer. Bring everything to next lesson ready to create your final packaging concept.
