photo (cc) Malte Sörensen @ flickr The inventions they came up with back the like the wood and stone huts and arrowheads gave us the ideas for innovations. The inventions the Mesolithic people came up with are some of the following,
Leather, Baskets, fishing tackle, stone axes, wood creations, stone wheel. Inventions Then there was farms Besides being hunter gatherers the Mesolithic ages were a time of farming. because of the time placement of the Mesolithic ages (after the ice age) aside from hunting they farmed their own land when traveling. also the leaders had meeting places set up and worked on so the tribes could have a discussion often. But they also used this place near the water as a place for hunting. At First... At first there was all nomadic hunter gathering kinds. The hunter gathering groups would use the meat to eat, the fur not only for clothes but for carrying as well as "sacks". Also there was the animal bone which was used for making "blades" and other shapes which were similar (as archeologists stated to todays modern arrowhead. Also because if the tools made by the Mesolithic people, the art was more detailed. Not only did they use the animal for the bone skin and meat, they also fashioned the teeth from the bigger animals into neck wear. The Mesolithic ages more advanced and gave other times later in history more ideas for innovations. citations:

This age has many new inventions innovations and even the rise and fall of dominance of microlithics. The idea for the first "blade" (much like modern day arrowheads) were put into action. The idea for most advanced weapons were made during this time, like the idea of using bone and stone instead of sticks. Then the idea of huts, the wheel, stone axes, ect. was made. The met in huts near the lakes, had hunting areas around the area, and made quick lives there, they never built a hut to big and never took long because of their nomadic ways. Then the idea of farming and irrigation was put through which wasn't easy, the nomadic people had trouble growing crops year around so they would constantly move. This was a new idea for the hunter gatherer Mesolithic people. Lastly before the fall of the mesolithic age, they were the first to domesticate animals, they would grow slaughter cattle, and even household pets today like dogs into their everyday lives. stories because there was no form of writing. They also did sculptures, and crafts from animals. The Mesolithic people got the idea to use art too to tell stories because there was no form of writing. They also did sculptures, and crafts from animals. Domestication Of animals The first domestication of animals for meat harvesting was thought of in the Mesolithic ages. But not only for meat, they also made home pets like we have today (most likely used for animal herding and hunting) too, much like we have in modern houses today. Citations:
