Transcript of Steve Jobs
Steven Paul Jobs is Steve's full name. His birth parents were named Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattan Jandali.
Steve Jobs spent his childhood in Silicon Valley. He was the type of child who liked to stick to himself.He was interested in electronics and gadgets from a young age.
Later on he joined the Hewlett-Packard Explorer Club, where he saw his first computer at the age of 12. He was impressed with the computer and knew he wanted to work with computers
Steve Jobs' career with Apple Inc. started when he created it with Steve Wozniak in 1976.
Due to the Macintosh not selling, Steve Jobs decided he had enough and he resigned from Apple Inc. in 1985.
He never did graduate from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, because he dropped out the first semester.
The class that interested him was a calligraphy class, because after he dropped out, he continued taking calligraphy classes at Reed College
Apple Inc. made history in earning money because they made $200 million dollars in a 3 year period.
In 1995, The CEO of Apple, Gil Amelio, decided to purchase NeXT and use its operating system to replace the Mac OS. Steve was back at Apple.
Coming back to apple
In 2003, steve jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he kept this a secret till he found a cure.
He was actually weeks away from death when he received a liver transplant in April 2009....
Jobs announced his resignation as Apple's CEO on August 24, 2011.
"That was one of the things that came out most clearly from this whole experience [with cancer]. I realized that I love my life. I really do. I've got the greatest family in the world, and I've got my work. And that's pretty much all I do.”
He died at his Palo Alto, California, home around 3 pm on October 5, 2011, due to complications from a relapse of his previously treated islet-cell neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer,resulting in respiratory arrest.

Steve went to Pixar and decided to close the hardware business because it was not making enough money.Pixar focused on their software that created 3D animation, It was called RenderMan.
