What He Stood Up For
Martin Luther King Jr. gave a speech called "I Have a Dream." He had a dream that one day people wouldn't be judged on the color of their skin, but the content of their character."

Martin Luther King Jr. believed that you shouldn't protest violently he thought that peaceful protest was better.
Growing Up
Martin Luther King Jr. was born January 15th 1929 Atlanta, Georgia. His original name was Michael like his father. But they both changed it to Martin while Martin Luther King Jr. was still a young boy.
Fun Facts
1. Had the heart of a 60 year old
2. Skipped ninth and twelfth grade
3. King traveled 6 million miles and spoke about 2,500 times.
His Death
Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated April 4th, 1968. We will always remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
How He Changed The World
He changed the world through stopping segregation. One of the ways he did that was he boycotted segregated buses.
