Soil Pollution Began in United Kingdom, Britain in the late 1700's.
By the mid-1800's, industrialization had already spread to western Europe and northeast United States.

Transportation (Air Planes, Roads, and Train Tracks)
Construction and Building Services (Construction Machinery and Garbage Trucks)
Leisure Activities (Parties or Mowing the lawn) Air Pollution Contamination of air by smoke and harmful gases, mainly oxides of carbon, sulfur, and nitrogen.

According to National Park Service, United States of America if light pollution is not controlled then there will be no darkness in the night sky of earth by the year 2025. The main effect air pollution had on humans is Asthma.
Asthma kills 5,000 people a year in the United States.
People with Asthma have to avoid dust, tobacco smoke, or cockroach droppings.
