Transcript of Copy of Teenage Shopping Habits
It is now possible to shop online! Shopping online has its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages include: shopping during the time the physical store is closed, to avoid crowds, information/reviews and price selection. Disadvantages: trying on the merchandise, getting a feel for the item, privacy and fraud concerns. Here are some pictures to explain. GIRLS
Girls will tend to spend their money on buying new make-up and clothes. For young girls, there is a lot of pressure for them to be on top in terms of fashion, so they will spend a lot of money making sure that their clothes are perfect and that their shoes match. How do young people get their money and how much do they get? Parents these days are giving allowances to their children. Most kids will do chores, get good grades, steal money from their parents and everything else to make money. On average teens spend around $300 - $400 a year on clothes, electronics, games etc which breaks down to about $5-$8 a week. Do girls spend more than boys?
CONT. Boys, on the other hand, tend to make infrequent but bigger purchases. Video games are a very expensive habit. So boys might be able to save up their money and will not spend their money as often as girls.
Answering the question is quite difficult because it depends on 3 factors: Gender, how often they buy and price. BOYS http://apps.ksbe.edu/kscholars/blog/aunty-lovina/what-do-teens-spend-their-money
