Transcript of Airplanes by Jacob

By:Jacob Airplanes Who invented the airplane? How an airplane flies. What is lift, drag, gravity, and thrust? The Wright Brothers invented the first airplane in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. They owned a bike shop before they invented the airplane. There are four forces that must be created or
overcome to make an airplane fly:lift, thrust, drag,
and gravity. Lift is air flowing over the wings and the angle of the wing into the
wind moves the aircraft upward. Drag is the shape of the aircraft slows its forward movement. Gravity is weight that holds the aircraft down. Thrust is the air that moves the aircraft forward. I hope you enjoyed this PREZI.
