I met my first wife, Helen Plalmer when he traveled through Europe. She died in 1967. He remarried an old friend, Audrey Stone Geisel who is now the president of (Dr.) suess Enteprises. He wrote and illistrated 44 childrens books in his career.
Death date, place, cause, and age at death
I died on September 24, 1991. I died at my home in Lajolla, California at the age of 87. He suffered from throat cancer.
I lived with my mother Henrietta Seuss Geissel and father Theodor Robert Geissel. He had one older sister named Marnie. His grandparents were German Immigrants.
I went to Darthmuth college when I was a teenager. I became the editor-in-cheif of a magazine called '' Jack-o-Lantern.'' After I graduated my father sent me to oxford University in England to become a college professor. I quit and I decided to tour Europe instead.
Early life
When i was little my family called me Ted. my mom would read me bedtime stories that would rhyme. This is why I love to put rhyming words in my books. I loved my child hood and i loved to read.

I was born on March , 1904 in Spring feild Massachusetts.
