There is a simulation of a United Nations debate in Madrid every year
Students from 3º ESO of IES Parque de Lisboa and other 9 high schools in Madrid represent countries in this debate
Every year the participating students are prepared thoroughly before the debate
I was chosen among the participating students of our high school to travel to NY.
I had to work with a student from another high school to get ready to represent Vietnam in a model UN debate, with about 2,000 students from all over the world.
With other 9 students, two teachers and two American teaching assistants, I stayed at a hotel in the middle of Manhattan.
The trip lasted 6 days, but the debate lasted only 2. We spent the rest of the time visiting the city.
We visited

State Building
The Statue of Liberty
