"YouTube." YouTube. N.p., n.d. Web. 19 Dec. 2012. <http://youtube.com>. Saint was born in Sicily when Catholicism was not very popular. She wanted to devote her life to God but, a Roman pagan wanted to marry her. She refused so, he ordered her to be tortured and then, killed. Saint Lucy was courages and not afraid to give her life for God. Saint Lucy completed many accomplishments some of them are she refused to marry someone because she promised her life to God. Also, she went through torture and showed the world who she believed in. I chose Saint Lucy because I thought to myself, Who is the person I want to be? Who can I use as my role model. When I am in trouble who can I look to for guidance and help from? And St. Lucy filled all of these descriptions so that is why I chose her as my role model and guider through my life. St. Lucy She became a Saint because she gave her life to God, she performed 2 miracles, and gave her eyes to the Roman who wanted to marry her. Bibliography •
