Poetry anthology assignment: friendship
Transcript of Poetry anthology assignment: friendship
Friends are far, friends are near,
Friends will be there to lend an ear,
They listen, laugh, and care,
But most of all, they're always there,
Through thick and thin, up and down,
Your true friends are always around,
For treats, hugs and real big smiles,
They'll travel to you from several miles,
They'll always be there to hold you tight,
Anytime, no matter if it's day or night,
You really know when your friends are sincere,
When they always show up to lend their ear.
Willing to listen
A heart that’s open
Kindness so rare.
Friendship is awesome.
Friendship will last forever.
If you are great friends
If you are good friends,
You'll be friends forever
And even if you fight,
you will always make up in the end.
Forever friends by: Amber S. Pence
The friendship we have is so rare to find,
We hate to see each other in a bind.
We have made each other laugh so hard we've cried,
We feel each other's pain if we are hurt inside.
We always can find the right words to say,
To help us get through any dreadful day.
We have told our darkest secrets, with feeling no shame,
We will tell each other the truth even if we are to blame.
Thinking of you not being here makes me feel so sad,
We will have to look back on our crazy memories to make us glad.
The Miles between us can't keep us apart,
Because we will keep each other close at heart
When friendship ends
When friendship ends you enter a world of sadness, and soon after that, a world of madness. When friendship ends, you feel Depressed. At nights you can never rest. When friendship ends you are in pain. When you lose a friend, there's nothing you can gain.
