Healthy Eating, Healthy Lifestyles
But does this really mean your kids are eating healthy?
So what do we do?
Healthy eating can be fun to eat and kids can feel like they get to eat real food.
Start adding in and crowding out
Lead by example
Have healthy treats on hand, ready to go
fruits, veggies or trail mix ready to grab
Start at home
You do not have to cook like your grandmother did. We don't have the food she did.
Tell them what it is and does to them
Gluten, Processed, Fast Food, Soy, Corn, GMO, Dairy, Sugar, Organic, "All Natural", free range, Hormone/Antibiotic free, Aspartame, HFCS
Never too early or too late for a Healthy Lifestyle

1 in 3 children are overweight or obese -
but Not well nourished.
1 in 5 children will graduate high school with abnormal cholesterol levels per the CDC
Teach them to read labels
If you can pronounce it don't eat it.
