PERSONAL: At 6:05pm on May 28th 1998 in Regina, Saskatchewan I, Maia-Claire Rayne Sutherland Herriot, was born. 1998 INTERNATIONAL: On September 4rth 1998, the search engine "Google" was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin as a privately held company. Google.com is now the most visited website in Canada. 1999 PERSONAL: In the spring of 1999, I was admitted into the Pasqua Hospital for Surgery on both my eye ducts because I couldn't cry. INTERNATIONAL: In January 1999 the European currency "Euro" was put into circulation. The transition to Euros took 3 years. INTERNATIONAL: On September 28th, 2000, Pierre Trudeau, Prime minister of Canada for 11 consecutive years, died of natural causes. 2001 PERSONAL: In the summer of 2001 I moved from my house on in the south end to my current house in the south east.
INTERNATIONAL: On November 29th, 2001, after a four year struggle with cancer, George Harrison, the fourth member of The Beatles, died at age 58. 2002 2004 PERSONAL: In December 2004 right beforeChristmans we bought a 6 month old Shih Tzu/Yorkie blend puppy and named her Ella. She is now 8 years old. INTERNATIONAL: 2003 PERSONAL: For Christmas 2003 I went to Mexico, it was my first time to the states.
INTERNATIONAL: On May 30th 2003, Finding Nemo was released into theatres and now it was just recently released in 3D. In 2004 the summer olympics were held in Athens, Greece. Athens is where the olympics originated. PERSONAL: In September 2002, at four years old, I started Apple Playschool at Athabasca School.

INTERNATIONAL: On March 30th 2002, Queen Elizabeth, the current Queens mother, died of natural causes at the age of 101. My Timeline PERSONAL: In the spring of 2005 my Nana had two strokes that resulted in severe short-term memory loss and dimensia.
INTERNATIONAL: In 2005, the very first photos of a deep sea squid were released by Japanese scientists. 2005 2006 PERSONAL: In the summer of 2006 I bought a turtle named Lyla and my dad built her a pond in my backyard.
INTERNATIONAL: On November 9th 2006, Steve Irwin "The crocodile hunter" died from a sting ray attack at the age of 44. 2007 PERSONAL: In May 2007 my mom was diagnosed with cancer and by October she was taking chemo. She overcame the cancer after 2 years of radiation and chemo and is now healthy without any signs of relapse.
INTERNATIONAL: On January 9th 2007, Steve Jobs revealed the iPhone to the world but it wasn't available for sale until 6 months later. 2008 PERSONAL: In the summer of 2008 just before school started I moved from Athabasca School to Lakeview School for my remaining 4 years of elementary.
INTERNATIONAL: In November 2008, Barack Obama was elected the first black president of the United States of America. 2009 PERSONAL: In the winter of 2009 one of my closest friends was diagnosed with Leukemia. She has Relapsed twice since then and is still battling the sickness.

INTERNATIONAL: In 2010, an Earthquake in Haiti killed almost 3 thousand people and destroyed the majority of the capital, Port-au-Prince. http://topics.nytimes.com/top/news/international/countriesandterritories/haiti/index.html 2011 PERSONAL: On December 29th 2011, my whole family moved to Campbell River, BC for 4 months. We rented a house and I went Middleschool there because of my dad's work.
INTERNATIONAL: On July 23rd 2011, singer song-writer, Amy Winehouse passed away from alcohol poisoning.
