Statement of the Problem


The study aims to determine the adaptogenic property from the extracts of turmeric (Curcuma longa, family of Zingiberaceae).

Specifically the researchers seek to answer the following questions:

How to Extract and confirm the different constituents present from the extract of the rhizomes of turmeric?
What are the constituent that has an adaptogenic property?
What is the effective concentration of the sample that will possess the adaptogenic activity of turmeric?
What is the difference between the turmeric to the positive control in term of the adaptogenic property they possess?
