BarCamp Fond du Lac
Transcript of BarCamp Fond du Lac
Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Stayer Center on the Marian University Campus.
To put it simply, it's kind of like a swap meet for the infocurious.
So, how does this
Everything starts at 8 a.m. when a schedule is created by the BarCampers themselves.
Are there guidelines?
To put it even more simply, it's an un-conference.

Basically, people attending BarCamp stick an idea on the board that they want to talk about.
And that idea can be just about anything.
You don’t need to be an expert. Just have a passion for your interests and a curiosity about others.
A few, but they're super easy to follow:
If you want to present, you must write your topic and name in a presentation slot.
Presentations can go as long as they need to or until they run into another presentation slot.
Promote an idea, process or project instead of a person or business.
Don't feel obligated to sit through a presentation you're not getting anything out of.
Use social media! Blog, tweet, Facebook or Instagram what you're seeing, doing and learning.
