of having a new type of
guitar that had a more profound sound. Les Paul invented first solid body
electric guitar in 1941
had six steel strings and
square wooden body. Leo Fender Re-invented the guitar in late 1940s
called it the Broadcaster, then later
known as the Telecaster Vox Company Introduced new shapes
of guitars like the teardrop
design, the pentigon.
also came up with idea of
having pedals to accent sound. When ~took shape over many decades of trial and error ~Leo Fender's
model, the Stratocaster, stayed as a perminant model ~The first one was a hallow body with six steel strings. ~The second model was a solid body electric guitar, pretty similar to days. ~Then company's started to create all different types of styles so artists would have their own. ~Then created pedals to amplify and accent the sound the guitar made. What Is a musical instrument that a person holds and can either play with a pick, by strumming up and down, or can be played by picking at the strings with the player's fingers. Where It all started in California in the early 1920's Then guitar making expanded throughout America. Why It was invented because people needed a new style, sound of music, and the electric guitar changed that throughout the 1960s and all the way up until now.
