Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty was effective January 10, 1920
32 countries came together in Paris, France, It held a conference to make peace after the 1st World War
*Britain, France and the USA (allied forces)came up with some ideas to bring Germany down and punish them

*Germany was not allowed to join the allied forces because Germany attacked them
It brought World War 1 to an end but then led to the start of World War 2
The terms of the Treaty was broken up into 3 groups.
* Territorial

*Military

*Financial and Economic
It was a peace treaty between the nations Japan, The United States, France, Austria-Hungary, Germany, and Britain
The Treaty of Versailles was a peace document signed at the end of WW1 by the allied and associated powers and by Germany in the Hall of Mirrors in the palace of Versailles, France on June 28, 1919, it took place on January 10, 1919, it took force on January 10,1920
