What does Music have to do with I.C.T.? Living a Life of Music! People like Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Rihanna and those type of people aren't really the ones who created music. Rap music started in the 1970s in in New York - South Bronx and was known as the African-American community. Being the new music on the scene, rap was recorded by small, independently owned record labels.

Rap music began as a cross-cultural product. Early artists, such as Jool Herc (aka the "Godfather of Hip Hop") and DJ Hollywood, were first and second generation Americans from Jamaica. These artists used the Jamaican style of cutting and mixing with American music; this began the mix. Where did Rap Originate from? Music is not just about being perfect and talented, its also about having fun, creativity and your love for music! Pictures James Brown had 99 Hot 100 Billboard entries, yet never had a number one Hot 100 hit. Strange Facts about Music iTunes has a massive impact on the world of music! Before, people used to have to go out to stores, such as Virgin Mega store, to buy their music as C.D.'s. However, when iTunes was made and came out, people didn't have to go out and buy their music anymore, instead all they had to do was go on the internet and download their music.The Internet and the change to digital ways of accessing music, have accelerated ways historical, technological, and cultural changes that used to take many decades. The transformation hasn't stopped yet; we still haven’t solved getting web video to our TVs – but it’s happening faster than ever before.
The evolution of the iPod and iTunes is a microcosm of many of the sweeping changes – in entertainment, business, and culture – of the last decade. What does MUSIC have to do with I.C.T.? It began when West African people were brought to South America as slaves... Their owners actually thought that they were plotting a plan or something against them and were beginning to get nervous. During their back-breaking work in the fields of the South farm owners, black slaves made a "call and response" way of singing to give rhythm so that they could pass time and also to be able to talk to each other without their owners understanding them. And finally, not all music has to be created using real instruments, they can be done on the computer... They've spotted us! Go the Other Way! Music was sent down a telephone line for the first time in 1876, the year the phone was invented. In August 1983, Peter Stewart of Birmingham, UK set a world record by disco dancing for 408 hours. iTunes Michael Jackson's Thriller, is the biggest selling album of all time.
