Timmy has been working very hard in math class! He's been coming to class every day, always raises his hand to ask a question, and helps other students. If he keeps up the good work I'm sure he'll have an A this year!

Do you remember that I like to bake? ;)
You will lose hall pass privilege if you are tardy
:(
Trust me, you will fall behind if you are not prepared :/
We should respect everyone
We are not at the "rancho" so let's behave appropriately ;)
1. Preparation
As soon as you walk in to class, please...

→ Get your Student Portfolio (Binder)
→ Sharpen your pencils
→ Get started on the Do Now Activity
Wait for the teacher to get started :]
→2. Hall Passes

In order to use a hall pass, students MUST follow these rules:

- Everyone MUST ask for permission
- Everyone MUST take only 5 min
- Everyone must fill out hall passes

Please refrain from asking while I am lecturing.
3. Turning In Work
When you turn in individual or group work, please pass assignment to the front row and I will go around and pick it up.
4. Materials
Take care of all materials, only use what is needed, and clean up after
yourself.

Please don’t expect someone
to clean for you.

Please do not use the coloring box as a trash can
5. Homework
Homework is required to be turned in on time.
I will NOT take any late homework.

Homework is expected
to be done at HOME.
6. Tardiness
If you are tardy you will not be allowed to get a hall pass. Please remember to sign the tardy log.

Remember, excessive tardiness and
absences will be considered as
Truancy and you will be required to
meet with a judge.
7. Make-up/Missed Work
If you are absent, make sure to have a buddy and ask for the missed assignments and
assignments.

If you do not ask,
no one will remember.
8. Behavior
Misbehavior is not tolerated.

School Infractions
will be given.

We are all young adults
so I believe we can all
be mature and responsible :)
Let's see if we were all paying attention. Let's take a quiz

What is a "Do Now" activity?
Every day, you will have a Do Now activity which will go in one of the dividers in your "Portfolio" binder.

Please look at the board under "Do Now" for instructions.
9. Electronic Devices
All electronic devices must be turned off and put away during class. The only exception is when I allow you to use your cell phone or iPad or a specific assignment. If you misuse your cell phone, iPad, iPod, MP3, or any other electronic device, it will be turned into the office where you will have to pay $15 to get it back.

This is your warning, therefore if I see it out when it is not suppose to, I am obligated to confiscate your device. This goes for hanging earphones around your neck as well.
