One day Zeus was having a terrible headache, Hermes told Hephaestus to take a wedge and split Zeus's skull and out came Athena full grown and in full battle gear instead of a babies wail she came out yelling the battle cry(that's because Metis was pregnant when he swallowed her). Her sacred animal is the owl.
Zeus is the king of all greek gods. He is the son of Cronus and Rhea the brother of Hades and Poseidon. He is the god of Skies. His weapon is the master bolt, a powerful weapon indeed. Hera is the goddess of marriage and the queen of all gods. She is one of the tree sisters of Zeus and is the wife of Zeus. Her symbol is peacock feathers, the lion, and the cow also her sacred animals. Hera may hold a pomegranate which is a symbol of fertile blood and death. Hera was known for her jealous and vengeful nature, most notably against Zeus's lovers and offspring, but also against mortals who crossed her, such as Pelias. Paris offended her by choosing Aphrodite as the most beautiful goddess, earning Hera's hatred.

Oftentimes he was also considered to have wings attached to his shoulders and hat.
Hermes usually held a winged staff with snakes wrapped around it in his hands in order to gain access everywhere. This staff helped Hermes to charm the gods or to wake up those who were tamed by the god of sleep.
Mercury (Hermes), was the son of Jupiter and Maia. He presided over commerce, wrestling and other gymnastic exercises He was also the god of thieves and everything which required skill and dexterity. He was the messenger of Jupiter, and wore a winged cap and winged shoes. He bore in his hand a rod, or magic wand, entwined with two serpents, called the Caduceus. This Roman god is said to have invented the lyre. Four hours after his birth he found the shell of a tortoise, made holes in the opposite edges of it, and drew cords of linen through them making the musical instrument was complete. There were nine cords in honor of the nine Muses. He gave the lyre to Apollo and received from him in exchange for the magic wand, the caduceus.
