Timeline 1997 I was born on December 9, 1997. 1998 Toy story 2 and Tarzan came out and it was a big hit. 1999 I got a trampoline in our front yard. 2000 2001 2002 2004 2005 2006 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 Cost of a gallon of gas $1.22. Microsoft becomes the worlds most valuable company valued at $261 billion dollars . Dozen Eggs only cost .88 cents. A loaf of bread was only $1.49. Started my first day of preschool. My family was able to travel and do fun things with me because every thing was at a cheap price. I went out to eat at a restaurant for the first time when I was one. Saving Private Ryan was a popular world war 2 movie. My family was able to make breakfast for a really cheap price. I started learning how to ride a bike with training wheels. The Saint Luis Rams won the Super Bowl and Tiger Woods won the U.S.Open. The new Apple iPod was introduced. I played video games with my cousin. The NCAA Ohio State Buckeyes were the national football champions. I started my first day of kindergarten . Gorge W. Bush was our president at the time. I went on my first boat ride on Portage Lakes . The Statue of Liberty was reopened to the public during this year. I went mini golfing on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Hurricane Katrina was one of the strongest hurricanes to hit the U.S. shore line. Our family got a hot tub at our house. The billionth song was purchased from iTunes. I went to Camp Carl for the first time. President Obama became our first black president. I got a new dog and she is a Beabull, which is a Beagle Bulldog mix. Her name is Baily. Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009. I got an Xbox 360 for my birthday. Justin Bibler was discovered on YouTube. I started mountain biking when I was 14. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hollows Part 2 was the number one hit of the year. I started my first year of high school. 2007 I went to the Outer Banks with my family. Apple introduces the iPhone to the world. When 9/11 happened the World Trade Center was hit by two commercial airliners. My mom was able to feed me a sandwich for a cheap price. Hillary Clinton was elected as the U.S. Senate and she represented New York. George W. Bush created the department of Homeland Security to try and fight terrorism. I was given greater protection from terrorist attacks
through my president and government. 2003 Tiger Woods winning the U.S. Open paved a way to inspire young kids to like golf. Airports started to have more security so it would take longer to get on a flight to go some where. Americans renamed french fries to freedom fries to protest to France. Kindergarten was the beginning of my education in Green Ohio . Hurricane Charley killed 12 people in Florida. Riding in a boat made me not fear the water. George W. Bush started his second term as the 43rd president. Myrtle Beach became my favorite vacation spot with many family memories. A 6.6 magnitude earthquake hit Hawaii. I use the hot tub to soak after football and it helps relax me. Six Coal Miners were trapped in a collapsed mine in Utah. The iPhone changed technology and started a surge in our world. Wall-E was a big hit film. When Obama was elected he created many more jobs. Gold prices hits $1,000 an ounce. When gold prices went up people started investing with gold. On August 31, 2010 president Obama formally declares an end to combat in Operation Iraq. Many families were able to come home and be reunited with their loved ones. April 27 was the deadliest day of 2011 with the largest tornado outbreaks in America. Mountain biking helps me stay in shape and healthy for football. On February 11, 2012 Whitney Houston died leaving behind a great legacy of songs. President Obama was re-elected for
second term. I played my first year of
Freshman Football. We were
the Suburban League
