Occupational Studies for the Workplace
Great news!
In R&PD we've been working hard to update our suite of Occupational Studies qualifications. These qualifications have proven to be very popular with both centres and learners alike. With the expiry of the old qualifications we wanted to make sure the transition to our new suite was seamless. So we've now launched the newly titled...

New units in the Level 2 qualification:
One of the key points raised again and again by employers is the suitability of training courses for the career paths that they are intended to lead to. This is why we have NCFE Occupational Studies - a range of qualifications tailored to give learners an introduction to specific careers, offering a taster of particular occupational areas. The Occupational Studies suite is intended to be accessible to all learners of all abilities with the core aim to give learners a platform upon which to further develop their skills and learning, helping to provide the building blocks towards apprenticeships.
All of the new units have been added based on centre feedback and requests. This is yet another example of how we are flexible and responsive to our customer needs.
Other than the introduction of the new units, the changes that have been made are largely for qualification compliance reasons.
This means there has simply been a change to the wording within the qualification. The content of the qualification itself has not changed. An example of this can be seen in the verb changes in some of the unit learning outcomes.
We hope you found this Prezi useful. If you have any further questions please contact Mike Potts in the Implementation Team, and he'll be happy to help!
